Chunhui (Crystal) Zhao moved to New Zealand with her husband in 2003. They chose New Zealand due to its favourable immigration, and were especially motivated by the higher quality of life in this country compared to overseas.
Crystal was studying at Polytechnic when a friend encouraged her to join Crest. Based on what she heard from others and the information on the Crest website, she bought a business in 2004 and hasn’t looked back.
Since joining the business, Crystal has become an ambassador for the business with the Chinese community.
When not cleaning, Crystal enjoys watching Chinese movies and catching up with friends.
Advice to people thinking of purchasing a cleaning business is to “use their heads, and start small until you gain confidence”
