CrestClean attended Franchising & Licensing Asia 2013 Exhibition & Conference, held at Marina Bay Sands, which is a large exhibition centre in Singapore.
The expo was held from over three days from 3 – 5 October, and it attracted more than 10,000 visitors from all over the region. Grant and Rene manned the stand, engaging in many conversations about CrestClean.
There were 213 exhibitors, CrestClean was the only NZ business on display. There were franchises on offer from Korea, Australia, The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, UK, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, Latvia, Canada, France and local Singapore offerings.
We were one of only two service sector franchises exhibiting, the other was a pest control franchise from USA. Both of us had a steady stream of interest.
The show went very well, there were good crowd attendances over 3 days. We spoke to people from all over the Asia region including China and India, and some from the Middle East. Quite a few had come to Singapore especially for the expo. We had several people who sought us out, and had come especially to meet us.
Our branding looked great, and our show presence was strong. We have confidence that CrestClean is in the right space, as many people see the massive growth in the service sector. The agents and brokers were all over us, as they see CrestClean as a great offering for the countries they specialise in.
We also met up with Ajit and Shikha Jain, our Delhi master franchisees who came down for the show. There business is growing strong and it has great prospects for future growth as they gain market traction. They are now getting ready to offer regional franchises across different parts of Delhi.
We have confidence that its only a matter of time before we launch in new countries, and we see the great potential for CrestClean’s business system to be applied to the rapidly growing marketplace for cleaning services across Asia.
