Winter’s icy grip over much of New Zealand has seen a flurry of orders for CrestClean’s latest addition to franchisees’ uniforms.

With the coldest months of the year yet to come, our newly-released CrestClean Beanie has been specially designed to keep you toasty warm – whatever the weather!

And early indications are that the new hats are not only functional, they are turning heads as a stylish and comfortable garment to be seen in!

Nelson Regional Manager Barbara de Vries didn’t waste any time when she saw the Beanies on the TCC website. She snapped up eight for herself and her team.

“They look really good and they are nice and warm. They are very good quality and are smart.”

With temperatures falling to minus 2C in the South Island city, Barbara said the beanies were essential wear for winter.

“All my team are wearing them. I bought each of my team members two each – they can wear one and wash the other.”

Further south, Dunedin franchisee Anand Kumar was very pleased with the CrestClean Beanies he bought.

“It has been very cold in Dunedin and the beanies are very warm,” he said.

Anand said customers had also noticed the new headwear and many had commented on how smart they look. The beanies are an acrylic knit and have a fleece lined brow-band for added comfort and warmth.

Brrr ... keeping cosy in winter means having a warm hat.

He said the beanies had proved particularly useful when he was at work in the early hours of the morning at a local supermarket.

“It gets freezing cold and I wear my beanie all the time.”

Nikki Wallis, Crest’s Marketing and Events Co-ordinator, was pleased the beanies were proving to be popular.

“We supply caps, and cricket hats, but some of our franchisees in the South Island were feeling the cold when they were cleaning in the evenings, and in the early hours of the morning,” she said.

Nikki says the colour, design and insignia on the hats was carefully chosen. “After much deliberation, it was decided that we would go with the black, due to the CrestClean logo looking sharp on the black of the beanies.

“We also wanted to match it with our black trackpants, which are part of our uniform.”

CrestClean Beanies are available exclusively to order at our franchisee website for $14.50.
