CrestClean personnel were champing at the bit to start work on a new contract to provide cleaning services for dental clinics throughout the Auckland region.
The teams underwent a training day for some site-specific training and induction. The work requires high standards of hygiene to be maintained at 42 sites and the 22 mobile dental units that visit schools.
Sam Creasy, CrestClean’s National Accounts Manager, said securing the contract with Waitemata District Health Board was further endorsement of the company’s credentials in providing a high quality of service.
“Dental clinics have strict hygiene requirements and as we are already the incumbent supplier at a number of their sites, they knew the sort of quality Crest can deliver.”
CrestClean is a well-known and trusted operator in the health sector, he added.
“Along with our work on similar types of sites, such as audiology clinics and eye doctors, we have gained a reputation for adhering to strict hygiene protocols and providing good attention to detail.
“Customers obviously view CrestClean as the people you bring in when you need an important job done well.”
Crest is working with its commercial partners Alsco to implement best-practice laundering processes to meet the strict hygiene requirements of the dental contract.
“In these medical-type environments, it’s about reducing risk,” added Sam.
“Our customers don’t want someone coming to their clinic and then getting sick, or an infection. They know that if Crest is doing the cleaning, they’ve greatly reduced their own operational risk.”
