The South Canterbury team wrapped up the year in style with a lively Christmas party at Tinwald Domain, bringing together franchise teams and their families for an afternoon full of fun and games… and plenty of laughs.
The event had everything you could want from a summer celebration – delicious food, and lots of fun activities that kept everyone entertained.
It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate some of our long-service franchise owners, who have shown incredible dedication to their businesses. Regional Manager Rob Glenie was thrilled to present the awards, especially with fellow franchisees there to cheer them on.
Rob also brought along some great game ideas, including a crowd favourite where participants had to put on a pair of shorts without using their arms. The challenge had everyone laughing and quickly became one of the highlights of the day!
A big part of the celebration was acknowledging the incredible dedication of the region’s franchise owners.
Bernard Rivera – 5 years
Bernard Rivera was celebrated for reaching an impressive five-year milestone. He is known as an outstanding business owner whose customers absolutely love him. His quality is of the highest standard, and his kind, genuine nature makes him a pleasure to work with.
Rob says he feels lucky to have Bernard on his team.
“His customers adore him and his quality is top-level. He’s the nicest person you could ever meet.”
Joy Pombo – 7 years
Joy received recognition for seven years of exceptional service. She has played a huge role in growing the Filipino community in the South Canterbury region, bringing in four or five teams through her encouragement and leadership.
Rob says Joy runs an incredible franchise, delivering professional, high-quality service that her customers truly appreciate.
“I cannot speak highly enough about Joy. She is simply an asset to our CrestClean family.”
There were also some fun prizes up for grabs. Jocelyn Dayrit took home the prize for Best Smile.
As the afternoon wound down, it was clear the South Canterbury team had plenty to celebrate – the achievements, milestones, and simply the joy of being together. Here’s to more success, growth, and plenty of good times in the year ahead.
