When you love the work that someone does, it’s always nice to say thank you – and that’s exactly what Glendowie School in Auckland did for their cleaning team recently.
To show their appreciation for the team’s hard work and high standards, the school hosted a special morning tea. The gesture meant a lot to Sri Gunasingam and his hardworking team.
Sri runs CrestClean’s largest franchise, backed by a reliable team that takes great pride in looking after their customers. They’ve been looking after Glendowie School for the past two years, but CrestClean has been part of the school’s cleaning routine since 2006.
Sri says the long-standing relationship is built on trust and quality service. He’s proud to lead a team that shares his commitment to professionalism.
“We’ve built a strong relationship by consistently delivering high standards, maintaining a professional team and ensuring open communication,” says Sri.
Glendowie School is a large site, so Sri has set things up to keep everything running like clockwork. He’s divided the school into sections, with each team member responsible for their own area, which helps manage the workload smoothly. There’s also a team supervisor who checks everything over at the end of each day to make sure all cleaning is of a high standard and the site is locked up securely.
When it comes to deep cleans during the school holidays, Sri and his team always go the extra mile to make sure the school is sparkling clean and ready for the next term.
Good communication is a big part of what makes it all work. The school uses a daily communication book, and Sri’s team is always quick to reply to messages by text or email to make sure nothing is missed.
“The school staff are friendly and approachable, and we enjoy a positive and respectful working environment at the school,” says Sri.
Glendowie School Sport and Property Manager Peter Kloppers says staff were proud to have the team join them for morning tea and appreciated the opportunity to say thank you.
“They are a happy team and work really well around the school. Sri is very professional with his communication and approach to the business,” says Peter.
