When Andrew Leverton was appointed as the new principal of Allenton School in Ashburton, CrestClean was keen to give him a warm welcome.
So, Regional Master Franchisee Rob Glenie arranged a morning tea, to celebrate both Andrew’s arrival and the school’s six-year relationship with CrestClean.
It was also an opportunity to introduce Andrew to franchisee Danny Enano and CrestClean’s ‘Cleanest Classroom’ programme, which rewards pupils for keeping their rooms tidy.
“We had done Cleanest Classroom at Allenton School in the past, but the school had been under renovation and also had a change of franchisee. So, with Andrew’s arrival, the renovations almost finished and a lot of new teachers, it just felt the right time to make a fresh start,” says Rob.
“I decided to use a local café and it turned out the café owners were parents of a current pupil! Everyone was very impressed with the quality of the food and were very happy to speak to Danny and find out a little more about CrestClean.
“Teachers were excited to start the Cleanest Classroom competition and we look forward to rewarding pupils for their tidying efforts.”
The Cleanest Classroom programme is run at many of the over 500 primary and intermediate schools that are cleaned by CrestClean franchisees, with the classrooms that are kept the cleanest in the school awarded a certificate and a prize at the end of the term.
