CrestClean franchisee Karite Eneta says it’s a real delight to be working at Whangaparaoa College.
So when Karite clocked up 10 years with the company there seemed no better place for her to receive a CrestClean Certificate of Long Service than the place where she is treasured for her hard work and great attitude to the job.
Ginny Catterall, the college’s Property and Human Resources Executive, was pleased to present the award to Karite and express heartfelt congratulations on behalf the staff.
“Karite is a lovely person who has been cleaning at our college for 10 years. She is always friendly, helpful and hardworking,” said Ginny.
And CrestClean’s North Harbour Regional Manager Neil Kumar was on hand to share Karite’s big moment.
“She goes well beyond to what is expected for her customers,” Neil said.
“Karite is the first franchisee in my team to have completed 10 years successfully. She has been cleaning Whangaparaoa College for 10 years and does a fantastic job.”
Karite, who is originally from Kiribas, says buying her own cleaning business has been a life changer. She had been working in a printing factory in Warkworth before she joined CrestClean.
She particularly loves the flexible hours that comes with being a CrestClean franchisee. Having two young children means she has plenty of time for the school run.
“Before I was with CrestClean I had no time to drop my kids to school. I had to rely on relatives to see they got to school.”
And being a cleaning professional means there’s plenty of satisfaction for a job well done, she says.
“I really love my job at Whangaparaoa College and making sure that everything is nice and clean for all the kids.
“It really feels good owning your own business and you don’t have a boss telling you what to do all the time.”
Karite says a holiday back to Kiribas is on the cards with the cash she received from CrestClean to mark her Long Service Award.
