Crest’s Property CareTaking service has been launched at Kelston Intermediate School.
Duties include gardening, grounds keeping, rubbish collection, building/facility maintenance, operation repair, door and window furniture maintenance, building exterior cleaning, routine inspection monitoring and reporting of infrastructure serviceability, operability and safety issues, external facilitation and general tasks that are requested by the principal.
Crest already cleans the school and Principal Phil Gordon can already see the benefits of having Crest manage both services.
Auckland West Regional Manager Caroline Wedding says the property caretaking service is a win-win.
“It’s a real winner. It will save schools money so it can be put back into education.”
