He’s a standout franchisee who has picked up a prestigious award for being the region’s top CrestClean business owner.
Gina Holland, Crest’s Christchurch South Regional Manager, says Kumaran Nair had outshone others to win her region’s Franchisee of the Year title.
But she has predicted that next year it will be an even harder task to select who is deserving of the top title.
Gina says all her teams do a great job for their customers. “We’ve got some amazing teams on board that are only going to improve as time goes on. Next year it will be an even tougher task to pick the Franchisee of the Year.”
She says it was an easy decision to select Kumaran. “He’s a perfect example of someone who has made CrestClean their main job and is dedicated to the industry and maintaining the highest standards.”
Since becoming a Crest business owner, Kumaran has not rested on his laurels. In 2017 he was appointed as a CrestClean Regional Induction Trainer. Earlier this year he was again recognised by the Master Cleaners Training Institute, becoming Regional Trainer for Christchurch.
Gina says Kumaran has worked hard in his new role and he’s responsible for training the majority of teams in Christchurch. “He’s a great role model for new franchisees coming on board.
“He’s always keen to share his knowledge and tips, which is fantastic.
“When I ask for feedback from the new teams that have trained with him they always say great things. He gives them very good practical advice and he teaches them about the big picture.
“It’s not just about knowing how to clean a toilet, it’s about managing the whole contract and ensuring the customer is happy.”
Adam Hodge, CEO of the Master Cleaners Training Institute, says Kumaran has a sharp eye for detail and takes a professional approach to every aspect of his CrestClean work. “It’s the little things that make CrestClean better than anyone else.”
