CrestClean has once again passed its Toitū Enviromark Diamond audit, marking the third year in a row we’ve achieved New Zealand’s highest level of environmental certification. This year’s result is especially pleasing, with zero corrective actions raised during the audit.
The results highlight CrestClean’s robust Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) and commitment to environmentally sustainable cleaning practices across the organisation. Diamond certification also shows that CrestClean operates above international standards for organisational environmental performance.
Lead auditor Neil Gilbert noted the following in his report:
“It has been a pleasure to witness the evolution of the organisation’s EMS over the last few years. Further notable system and relevant organisational improvements were in evidence at this year’s audit… The organisation has also established an impressive suite of meaningful projects and initiatives that are actively achieving or working towards environmental and sustainability objectives. Overall, the EMS is now very well embedded into the organisation and is operating to a high standard.”
Neil also acknowledged the strength of our internal audit and management review processes, along with ongoing improvements in training, training materials, and system documentation.
A special mention goes to CrestClean’s Environer Team, who play a key role in improving the environmental sustainability of our operations. Led by General Manager Training, Safety and Wellbeing Liezl Foxcroft and Operations Manager Tracey Wheeler, the team works hard behind the scenes to ensure we continue to improve year after year.
