Existing relationships were strengthened and new ones forged at the recent Secondary Principals’ Association of New Zealand (SPANZ) conference in Blenheim.
As a Bronze Sponsor, CrestClean was proud to host a stand, providing the opportunity to catch up with principals from throughout New Zealand and learn more about their schools’ cleaning needs.
Attended by CrestClean’s Wellington Regional Manager Zainab Ali and Nelson Regional Manager Barbara de Vries, hundreds of CrestClean hand sanitiser samples, pens and information flyers were handed out to conference attendees. RecycleKiwi packs were also freely available, containing recycling resources such as waste separation stickers and posters, to help schools streamline their recycling efforts.
A CrestClean gift hamper, containing a tasty selection of New Zealand-made specialty foods, drew a lot of interest and was won by Whanganui City College Principal Peter Kaua — who coincidentally heads the school that Zainab’s brother attended.
“He’s a really nice guy and he was rapt to have won,” says Zainab.
“It was a really successful conference. Everyone was super engaged and seemed to be having a great time. We had a lot of principals telling us about their cleaning set-up. Those who were already using CrestClean told us they were extremely happy with the service provided. There were also a lot of people interested in getting quotes.”
With more than 500 schools cleaned by CrestClean personnel nationwide, the company is proud to support the education sector with this essential service.
“One of the reasons we support the SPANZ conference is to show principals that we are huge supporters of what they do, and that when and if they need a consistent level of cleaning, we are here for them,” says Zainab.
“The general feeling was they have a lot on their plates at the moment and it was really nice, for those principals that do use us, to know that it’s one thing they don’t have to worry about.”
