Dhanyavaad (thank you) to Radio Tarana for having us at their annual Diwali Expo!
It is the first time that CrestClean has attended the popular Auckland event, which attracted 10,000 people and resulted in lots of interest in our franchise offerings.
Prior to the expo, CrestClean aired its first ever Hindi advert on Radio Tarana, which also played at the event and was well received.
Regional Master Franchisees Viky Narayan (Auckland South), Kent Wilkinson (Northland) and Nivitesh Kumar (Waikato) represented CrestClean at the expo, and were kept busy talking to people, handing out information flyers and doing live radio interviews.
“It was really good. Lots of people were interested in getting to know what CrestClean was all about. Plenty of people popped in and picked up the flyers — we had quite a bit of enquiry coming through,” says Viky.
“We had almost 20 leads on the dot, and we also had people who didn’t write their names down on the day but contacted us after. People are looking at options in the market at the moment. They’ve had enough of working for someone else and they’re looking for something like what we have got, working for themselves. A lifestyle type of business that is easy to start and attractive moneywise. When we told them the sky’s the limit, they were happy to hear that!”
With the borders reopening and a growing appetite for change, it was the perfect time to attend the expo, says Viky.
“With the pandemic everything has changed. People are looking at things differently.”
Kent agreed the expo was a really positive experience, with lots of foot traffic and interest in CrestClean.
“The food was great and there were plenty of exhibits. We had a few attempts at an interview for Tarana Radio’s Facebook page, which was quite amusing.”
Nivitesh says, “I think it went well, as we exposed our branding to a lot of people. This created awareness about us in their minds and showed our support for the Indian community.”
