Learning never stops at CrestClean. Our new training platform gives franchise owners an easy way to build their skills and stay up to date with industry best practice – all from the comfort of home.
The Learning Management System (LMS) includes a range of industry-leading courses designed to help franchisees continue delivering the high standard of service CrestClean is known for. It also features specialised training for sectors like healthcare, where robust cleaning processes are especially important.
One franchisee already making the most of the new system is Dharam Singh, who has been with CrestClean for almost 14 years.
Rather than spreading his first programme out over time, Dharam and his wife Lalita decided to set aside a few hours to complete the whole programme in one go. Although franchisees can work through the training at their own pace, Dharam and Lalita found the whole process easy to follow.
“It was very, very easy,” he says. “It took me three hours, but it was very good.”
With most of his day free before heading to his cleaning sites in the afternoon, Dharam was able to set aside time for the training. He says if he can do it, anyone can. Back in Fiji, he worked as a sugarcane farmer and had very little formal education. After arriving in New Zealand, he started out working at a supermarket before a friend introduced him to CrestClean. He decided to give it a go, purchasing a small franchise to see where it could take him.
Fourteen years later, his business is strong and he owns a large two-storey home in Wellington.
“CrestClean saved my whole life. It’s the best company we have ever seen,” he says.
One of Dharam’s original customers is still with him today, and in all those years he hasn’t received a single complaint. For him, the secret has always been simple.
“We work so hard because we want our customers to be happy,” he says.
Having now completed the first programme assigned to him, Dharam is encouraging other franchise owners to do the same and make the most of the new LMS.
“This is very important for us,” he says.
“There are lots of good things to be learned in these courses.”
