CrestClean’s Invercargill franchisees were proud to be acknowledged for both length of service and newly acquired skills at this year’s Regional Team Meeting.
There were a number of long service awards and certificates of achievement outstanding from the last year, which were presented together with this year’s accomplishments.
“The team meeting is the perfect forum to celebrate franchisees’ success. It’s an environment where they are not only recognised by the company, but also by their peers. It was great to get everyone together in the same room to present these awards,” says Invercargill Regional Manager Glenn Cockroft.
The meeting was held at ILT Stadium Southland, with Managing Director Grant McLauchlan and General Manager of Franchise Services Sam Lewis giving an informative presentation.
‘Franchisees of the Year 2021’ went to Jessery and Ramel Batrina, who also received a 3-Year Long Service Award.
“I receive tremendous compliments from many of their customers, and they are always one of the first teams to stand up and assist if there’s any extra work needed in the area,” says Glenn.
“They started their franchise with Jess doing the cleaning and Ramel was working on a farm, and over the last three years they have expanded their business size to the point Ramel has now left the farm and is working fulltime for the business.”
A 10 Year Long Service Award was presented to Richard Chand — only the third time this award has been presented in the region.
Long Service Awards were also presented to Marciel & Martin De Guzman (7 Years), and the Valdrez Family (3 Years).
Certificates in Commercial Cleaning L2, from the Master Cleaners Training Institute, were handed out to Christine and Millard Macairan, Sonny and Irene Tengco, Van Nguyen and husband Johnny Phan and Wency Jabonitalla, whose certificate was accepted on her behalf by her mother Tess. Sonnyl Tengco was also recognised for becoming a Hard Floor Care Specialist.
“Almost all of the region’s 30 teams attended. Everyone enjoyed the presentation from Grant and Sam, and of course everyone enjoyed lunch,” says Glenn.
