We’re pleased to welcome Stuart White, the new Quality Assurance Co-ordinator for Manawatū-Whanganui & Taranaki. Stuart has been training closely with Wellington’s Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, Manu Somanath, to learn the ropes of his new role.
With an extensive background in the cleaning industry, Stuart brings a wealth of experience in quality control, training, and customer relations. His career began with Green Acres, where he spent nearly eight years as a Master Franchisee for Kapiti and Manawatū, overseeing a team of nine franchisees.
In his role as Area Manager at Cleanmaster International, Stuart managed cleaning subcontractors responsible for all Countdown supermarkets nationwide. He travelled across New Zealand to conduct audits, provide training, and ensure compliance with cleaning standards.
His expertise also extend into healthcare cleaning for ISS World, where he once managed a team of 125 cleaners across Hawke’s Bay and New Plymouth. Here he gained in-depth experience in healthcare cleaning standards and site inductions.
With a passion for building teams, Stuart’s looking forward to getting to know the region’s franchisees.
“There’s an opportunity to grow franchisees’ businesses and help them improve their skills,” he says.
“That’s what it’s all about. When our franchisees are successful, we’re successful,”
He’s already established a strong working relationship with Manawatū-Whanganui’s Regional Manager, Peter Radley. With a shared vision, Stuart and Peter are focused on working together to drive growth in the region.
“We’re going to work well together because it’s all about improving franchises,” Stuart says.
His first step is to meet the region’s franchisees as he undertakes around 28 audits throughout November. He aims to connect with as many cleaning teams as possible before the Christmas break and he’s looking forward to hitting the ground running.
“I want to make sure the franchisees understand that we’re here to work with them, not against them,” he says.
“We want to enhance our relationships with franchisees and help them grow their businesses.”
Outside of work, Stuart prioritises time with his wife, Kirsty, and their family. A passionate fan of V8 supercars, Stuart rarely misses an opportunity to enjoy any motorsport.
Stuart and Kirsty share a love of home renovation. Over the past six years, they’ve completed five home makeovers, and they’re currently bringing new life to an 1890s cottage in Ashhurst.
