Hawke’s Bay franchise owners Jay and Lyn Bragancia have just reached their three-year milestone with CrestClean. For many, these are the hardest years in business, but Jay and Lyn are thriving.
Although it took some time to learn the ropes in the beginning, Jay and Lyn say their experience has made them much faster and more efficient. Now that they know each site inside out – especially where all the switches and sockets are – they’re able to move from site to site quickly and confidently, without ever compromising on quality.
They credit CrestClean’s training programmes for helping them develop their skills and improve their business operations.
“We’re still learning, but it’s good because CrestClean’s training helps us a lot with our business,” Jay says.
In fact, Jay is gearing up for his next training session in floorcare, which will allow them to expand the range of services they offer to customers.
Jay and Lyn look after a mix of customers, including offices and a healthcare centre, and almost all of them have stayed with the couple since the very beginning.
Beyond growing their business, the franchise has made a big difference in Jay and Lyn’s personal lives too. Just one year after joining CrestClean, they were able to buy their first home – something they’re incredibly proud of. Before owning the franchise, their income wasn’t steady enough to show the bank they could manage a home loan, but that all changed thanks to their new business.
“Because of CrestClean, we were able to acquire a loan to purchase a house,” says Jay.
Throughout their journey, Jay and Lyn have felt well-supported by their Regional Manager, Tim O’Leary, and Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, Charlize Pederson. They’re especially grateful for the ongoing guidance and encouragement both have provided.
“Tim’s always there for us, and Charlize too,” says Jay.
As Jay and Lyn celebrate three successful years with CrestClean, they’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to growing their business even more.
