A senior manager at a New Zealand label manufacturer has praised the high standard of cleaning and the cheerful way Sunita Dutt goes about her work.
The CrestClean business owner has been carrying out daytime sanitising and cleaning at Rapid Labels.
Michelle Allen, the company’s head of finance, says Sunita is doing an excellent job. “She’s been coming in during the day as an addition to the normal cleaner we have in the evening.”
People notice how happy she is, says Michelle. “Everyone loves to see her every day. She’s a lovely person, always friendly and smiling and happy.”
Sunita’s focus is to clean and apply an anti-viral sanitiser to high-touch surfaces. “She’s been in every day cleaning down the desks and chairs and light switches, door handles, anything that people are touching,” says Michelle.
Staff were also doing their bit to ensure hygiene levels were maintained, she says. “We are all doing sanitising and washing hands and everything, but it’s nice to know the surfaces are being done in a really professional way,”
Neil Kumar, CrestClean’s North Shore Regional Manager, says there has been a huge increase in enquiries from new and existing customers about sanitising and extra cleaning during the daytime.
He says Sunita takes her job seriously: “I’m so glad Sunita put her hand up to carry out this service. It shows her dedication to her customers.”
Sunita says she enjoys the work and particularly the feedback she receives. “I love cleaning and I like doing extras for customers. With this COVID-19, everybody has to be safe so we do our best to keep everything clean and sanitised.”
Rapid Labels’ staff have been quick to thank Sunita. “I’ve had a lot of compliments from the staff who come to me and say ‘you’re doing a great job’. It makes me feel very proud to be appreciated,” she says.
