An up-and-coming legal eagle is enjoying her new support role for CrestClean’s Wellington operations.
Nicole Ratuszny, who is at university studying for a degree in HR and law, says she’s loving the variety of the part-time job.
“I’m learning a lot and dealing with a lot of different clients. It’s been really interesting talking to them getting an idea of what we do as a business.
“Doing the administration and helping with the legal side of things fits in quite nicely with my degree, especially putting the service agreements into place.”
Nicole’s role at Crest is wide-ranging. Her main responsibilities include workplace administration, and keeping records up to date plus carrying out customer-care calls.
Her previous management experience includes a spell working for a debt collecting company. “It was a good job and you learned to deal with all sorts of people,” she added.
She says having good communication skills is vital in her CrestClean role. “I enjoy dealing with clients and people in general.
“It’s important to have a positive result at the end of a conversation and make sure everyone is happy with the service they are getting.”
Richard Brodie, CrestClean’s Wellington Regional Manager, says Nicole’s appointment has brought more efficiencies to the company’s operations in the capital city.
“She’s a very bright cookie and is doing a master’s degree at the moment. Her presence means I can spend more time with customers and our CrestClean business owners.”
