Room 3 at Methven School are tidy kiwis.
At the end of each day throughout Term 1, pupils spent time cleaning up their classroom. As a result of their hard work, they won the CrestClean Cleanest Classroom competition for Term 1.
The class enjoyed pizza for lunch as their reward.
Cleanest Classroom competitions are held at many of the 262 schools that are cleaned by Crest franchisees. Classrooms that are kept the cleanest in the school are awarded certificates on a weekly basis by the Crest personnel who clean the school, and the one with the most at the end of the school term is awarded a prize.
“The Cleanest Classroom competition is a great idea. Thank you CrestClean,” Principal Chris Murphy says.
South Canterbury Regional Manager Robert Glenie says the competition has been well received at schools in the region.
“It is a great incentive for kids to play their part in making sure their classroom is kept clean and kids are enjoying it,” he says.
