CrestClean’s RecycleKiwi programme has really struck a chord with teachers at an Auckland school.
After a RecycleKiwi resource pack was delivered to Red Beach School a “thank you” card was left for CrestClean business owner Naresh Mani, who takes care of the school’s cleaning.
Red Beach teacher Lisa Davies told Naresh the recycling initiative was a timely reminder to kids about safeguarding the environment.
“The messages in this resource kit are very important for our future generations to understand, so thank you!”
Lisa says the RecycleKiwi resources will be widely used by the youngsters. “Thanks CrestClean for the fabulous RecycleKiwi kits. We are planning on using them in conjunction with Keep NZ Beautiful Week. All Year 5 and 6 classes will have their own kit.”
RecycleKiwi has been developed by CrestClean and the company has delivered free resource packs to more than 500 schools nationwide.
Naresh says he was proud to be involved in the educational programme. “I’m really excited by what we are doing.
“CrestClean is doing a great job in promoting recycling to all the schools. It’s a brilliant idea.”
