Sri Gunasingam and his team had a good reason to feel proud this week.
Auckland Central Regional Manager Dries Mangnus presented them with three Certificates of Excellence after receiving great feedback about three specialist cleaning jobs they had recently completed.
The jobs were at the Leslie Centre, Chauser School and Child’s Time Early Learning Centre.
Sri says much of the team’s success comes down to having a well-trained group of people who are willing to learn and improve.
For specialist work like this, they make sure they use the right equipment, products and techniques for each job, while always keeping health and safety in mind.
“We are always willing to learn. Even small techniques can make a difference,” says Sri.
The team also continuously shares ideas and experiences, helping each other pick up new skills and find better ways of working.
Sri also puts a lot of importance on looking after his staff and keeping a stable team. They don’t just want to get the job done and move on. They take the time to do it properly, keep in touch with the customer, stick to the agreed timeframe and make sure they’re happy with the result.
“Having a stable, experienced and well-trained team helps us maintain consistent standards and provide better service to our customers,” says Sri.
That approach has helped build strong customer relationships, with many customers returning to the team when they need specialist or one-off cleaning.
“We always focus on doing a great job and keeping our customers happy.”
There’s no secret formula to Sri’s success. It comes down to sheer hard work and high standards.
“If we continue to provide good service and maintain high standards, success will follow naturally.”
