CrestClean was proud to support close to 200 school leaders at two professional development days in Auckland recently.
Auckland West Regional Manager Caro Wedding and North Harbour Regional Manager Neil Kumar joined forces to co-sponsor the Waitakere Area Principals Association’s (WAPA) Leadership Day and the North Shore Principals Association’s (NSPA) Summit Day.
“Because our regional boundaries are so close to each other, we sponsor the two associations together,” explains Caro.
Goodie bags — containing anti-viral sanitiser spray, microfibre cloths, hand sanitiser, notepads and pens — were well received by attendees who were interested to learn more about CrestClean’s cleaning products and processes.
CrestClean also held prize draws, with gift hampers containing a selection of New Zealand-made specialty foods won by Chaucer School and Milford School.
Both events were held at The Riverhead’s picturesque Boat House Function Centre, with guest speakers and refreshments provided.
“It was a great opportunity to reconnect with principals and other school leaders in a relaxed atmosphere, and to spoil them with our goodie bags,” says Caro.
“We hardly see the principals in person. It was a good way to say, ‘hey we are here and if you need anything give us a bell’,” adds Neil.
Principals were particularly interested in CrestClean’s ability to provide schools not only with cleaning, but also a managed consumables service.
“By bundling everything it saves them time and money. It makes it easier for them, as it’s one less thing to worry about,” says Neil.
The two events were also attended by Chris Wedding, who has recently joined CrestClean, providing Caro with administration support.
“It was a great opportunity to meet some of our customers. I really enjoyed both conferences — there was a diversity of people and they were really interested in what we had to say,” says Chris.
“It was also really interesting working with Caro and Neil because they are very good at what they do.”
