Being part of the growth of CrestClean – from a small business to an industry leader – is one of many highlights for Customer Services Manager Dellece McFarlane.
In recognition of her 10 year service, Dellece, who is one of many long-standing CrestClean personnel, was presented with a glass plaque and a $2000 travel voucher by Managing Director Grant McLauchlan.
“Dellece has shown great loyalty and commitment to her role. Dellece has had a great influence on our organizational culture,” he says. “Her positive, steady manner is infectious and (almost) nothing makes her flustered, which are all great qualities for a front line role. She’s a great team player and a valued member of the Crest team,” he says.
Acknowledged as the ‘voice of Crest’, Dellece is the first person customers and prospective customers talk to when they phone CrestClean.
“I enjoy the personal touch we offer at Crest. There is no call centre here. It is real people all the way. It is nice to be able to offer that today as many businesses don’t realise how much people appreciate speaking to people who are truly involved with their company,” she says.
Dellece’s role involves dealing with customer and franchisee enquiries, quote requests, security and additional invoicing.
“It is diverse, no two days are the same,” she says. “It is tremendously busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
It is a role that has evolved over the last 10 years, Dellece says.
“Working for Crest is wonderful. Grant (Managing Director) and Rene (Marketing Director) are incredible to work for. I feel lucky that I have been at Crest for so long. It is a privilege and a pleasure to work at Admin Services.”
As part of celebrations Dellece also enjoyed morning tea with head office staff.
“It was a huge surprise. I will be using it towards our family holiday to Bali in August for my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding celebrations. I can’t wait. I work with a wonderful team of people,” she says. “I am very lucky indeed. I was truly touched by the award,” she says. “To be recognised in such a way was overwhelming.”
Congratulations Dellece, here’s to another 10 years!
